About
The WAAMathon is the only event exclusively focused on WAAM, bringing together experts, thought leaders, and decision-makers from the field of additive manufacturing. This event highlights Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), a type of directed energy deposition (DED) technology that uses an electric arc to melt metal wire, which is then deposited layer by layer to build up large metal parts for industrial applications.
The goal of the WAAMathon is to elevate this niche technology, making it more widely known and accessible, while fostering a community where participants can exchange ideas, share experiences and collaborate on future developments.

Are sound, image and video recordings permitted during the event?
The presentations will be recorded for the entire duration of the event. It is not permitted to record the presentations. With a few exceptions, photographs of the components are permitted. If something may not be photographed, this will be indicated.
Will sound, image and video recordings be made at the event?
Pictures and film recordings will be made at the event itself, which will be used during and after the event for advertising purposes and in social networks. By purchasing an event ticket, you agree to the use of the images for these purposes.
Is there a wardrobe?
You will be offered a wardrobe free of charge during the event.
